Arthur is a well known homeless man who lives on the street I grew up on in Edinburgh, I would see him almost everyday. Always sober and never bothering anyone, he just likes to read the paper and sleep next to warm air vents.
This was a digital collage for a poster commemorating 20 years since the fall of the berlin wall, using ripped newspaper and fine liner pen.
The second scene depicts Burke handing over bodies for a handsome sum to Dr. Knox for his anatomy class at Edinburgh University. Acrylic and pen on antique paper.
This was the first part of a series of images for 'The Villain Show' at Sleeping Giant gallery in Toronto. It depicts Burke and Hare of old Edinburgh, digging up bodies for profit. Acrylic and pen on antique paper.
Cowboy Joe is another intriguing character of Leith Walk, he likes anything to do with cowboys and loves it when you play dead after being shot by his cap gun.
