I was set the challenge to create over 30 illustrations for an event prospectus on behalf of Smart City Futures. 1000 commissioned copies were printed and shipped worldwide.

After spending too much time recently with vector graphs I thought I'd get the paint out for these geat novels.
With a work placement lined up at The District soon, I thought a great way to thank them was to promote their gallery space and blog, known as The Frontroom. With their love for grids and the Frontroom's tag line, "an ever changing creative space", in mind I screen printed a handful of flyers onto acetate to spread around.

In the words of Magma, they are “evolving” and don’t want to be known as just a ‘book store’ anymore. To accommodate the idea of the store's evolution a range of non-bias promotional products were created by breaking the store's products down into percentages.
As a growing record company they needed a website to network upcoming gigs, new releases and signings. After a huge learning curve and many late nights the site is done. Riotpop still have many projects lined up including their own clothing label which I'm really excited about.

I've been trying out some hand drawn illustrations of people recently and noticed I've a habit of drawing people with long legs. Which maybe because I've got a pair of them myself. |
