The Art Club
A series of Art & Design workshops designed in collaboration with a local school, and fellow designer Romilly Winter. The workshops were created in collaboration with the school as a response to discovering that children from the area do not have high expectations for their futures. The workshops aimed to explore and introduce the children to Art & Design culture, to broaden horizons, and to get the children to explore and discuss through their work, some of the issues that effect their lives. The workshops culminated in an exhibition held at the school on 31st March 2010.

No Man Is An Island
An investigation into Wealth, Income & Class Inequality in the UK 2009/2010.
The publication explores the growing divide between rich and poor in the UK and the social problems it causes. It is a call for consideration of the issue and a rethink of our tax system.

OM-20
‘Everything about one thing.’
This book is an investigation into my Olympus OM-20, handed down to me by my Dad several years ago. I was captured by the idea of the camera recording its history through its own eyes. To my knowledge every single photo the camera has ever taken was scanned in and put into this book (there are just under 2000). Interested in how we record time and history, I then categorised the book according to the Dewey Decimal System used by Libraries.

20 Memories
This poster displays 20 memories from my life, where and when they occurred, and some of the stories behind each memory. The printed type is the event and including the strokes, covers the area on the graph in which the memory occurred. Some memories go across several months indicating that the event could have occurred anytime between two dates, and may have occurred more then once. The larger memories are ones of more significance to me. The larger the type; the more important the memory. Anecdotal stories written by hand expand and go deeper into each memory.

‘Everything Connects.’
A short motion graphics piece that explores life as a journey, and the multiple connections that occur during a lifetime. Despite a wealth of wisdom and experience the elderly are often overlooked, so I asked my friend Ray to share his life story with me. This is part 1.
